The MS CUSTOM is a model created at the request of musician Manu Simoens, with whom I've collaborated for many years. Manu wanted a new "sporty," compact, and versatile guitar. It features an HSS pickup configuration and a reworked classic design. An alder body, a bolt-on roasted maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard provide tried-and-tested foundations, but with a flamed maple top to add a touch of clarity and brightness, and above all, a luxurious aesthetic. The aesthetics are further enhanced by a sculpted top in the style of Les Pauls, binding around the body and fingerboard, celluloid fingerboard inlays, a black headstock, an amber finish, and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish reminiscent of another great classic design. Ultimately, this "superstrat," which incorporates Les Paul attributes and a Schaller Lockmeister bridge mounted on the top, offers exceptional playing comfort thanks to the fingerboard's compound radius and balanced support.
